1 crockpot 6 chicken breasts 3/4 Louisiana hot sauce On high for 3 hours Shred chicken In a microwaveable bowl, add 2 packages of cream cheese, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 1 stick of butter & 1/4 cup more hot sauce. Heat for 3 minutes, then pour mixture over shredded chicken. Season with a tsp of garlic powder & black pepper. Garnish with scallions & a sprig of cilantro. So, what do I do, when they decide to come a day early, at my behest, due to the impending inclement weather (5 inches of snow!!!)?? Well, I prepped a brisket to smoke for tomorrow. Season, season, season!! I can't stress that enough! When it comes to a thick piece of meat, the more, the better! Dry Rub: 1 tbsp of the following. Garlic powder Black pepper Sea salt Cowboy rub Paprika Red pepper flakes Cayenne (less if you don't want that much heat) Liberally rub both sides, cover & let marinate over night!
