Ok...
32 oz ketchup
1/2 cup honey mustard
1/3 cup red pepper flakes
2 tbsp black pepper
1/2 cup garlic powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp jalapeño powder
1 whole jalapeño (cut in half with seeds)
2 tbsp sea salt
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Ethiopian spice mix (or cayenne powder)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/3 cup water (to thin it out)...eye ball it to your liking.
Simmer in a sauce pan on medium heat until all ingredients incorporated.
Not enough spice, add more ...and the same for sweetness....taste as you go.
