Roasted jalapeños, bacon & cheddar rangoons with a cool peach purée!
Chop 5 roasted & seeded jalapeños (400f/2min)& 6 strips of thick cut baked bacon. Add 1/3 brick softened cream cheese & 1/2 cup shredded cheddar/jack to the peppers/bacon bowl.
Mix well. Take a wonton wrapper and a tsp of mix to the middle. Dip your finger in a bowl of water & "paint" the edges of the wrapper. Bring the edges to the center & place on a greased/sprayed baking sheet.
Bake 400/20 min or until edges are golden and cheese is bubbling.
To contrast the heat, I made a simple peach purée...easy peasy...food process 2 whole canned peaches with 3 tbsp of the liquid.
Enjoy the crispy outer shell with an ooey gooey molten center.
