Anyway, it’s easy, delicious & low calorie with the creamy goodness of a fattening soup!
3 cooked chicken breasts-diced & set aside
3 bags of baby carrots -chopped
1 bag of celery -chopped
3 cups of water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 bay leaves
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp ground sage
1 tsp ground thyme
salt to taste (I like a lot)
1/2 tsp or a pinch of red pepper flakes
boil until tender -20 minutes
puree in your food processor until smooth. (I added a cup of water while blending.)
add back to your pot with the chicken and 3/4 cup of dried cranberries & 2 tbsp of butter for that silky smooth finish....
It tastes like Thanksgiving in a bowl!
