This has got to be my favorite...but, very time consuming!
I love my Traeger Smoker & enjoy cooking a piece of meat until it's good and tender! The flavors are amazing!
I dry rubbed this cut with a cup of "steak seasoning" on both sides & let it sit for 2 days in the refrigerator.
It's been smoking for 5 hours and Sophia has said, every hour on the hour, "That smells so good. When is it going to be done?!?" My sentiments exactly!
Because I used a steak seasoning instead of my usual bbq dry rub, I made a wet marinade to mop every hour.
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup water
2 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp sea salt
1/3 cup steak seasoning
This helps keep the meat moist.
Smoking meat enhances the flavor beautifully. It's a process but worth the end result...everytime!😋
