With all of the quiet, that I’m not used to, I took a break to watch a movie....turned out to be a sentimental flick and didn’t add to the somber cloud hovering over me today.
I decided to grab some spicy sausages and make sautéed peppers, onions & garlic, pesto & Alfredo sauce over bowtie pasta. I don’t use my grandma’s bowl too often but every once in s while, I’ve gotta pull her out.
With all of the craziness in the world, and the realization that tomorrow may not come for some, keep some perspective, keep it simple & keep those you love a little closer to you!

Recipe:
2 sliced & sautéed peppers
1 sliced & sautéed white onion
Season with a dash of dry red pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, oregano & basil
6 spicy broiled sausages
12 oz of Alfredo sauce
2 lbs bowtie pasta (boiled for 10 minutes & drained)
pesto: 1 cup olive oil, 1 package of basil leaves, 1 tbsp garlic paste, chili paste, basil paste, 1 tsp salt, dry oregano, basil & a dash of red pepper flakes.
1 large roll of fresh mozzarella cheese diced
Pour pasta over the onions & peppers, add the rest of the ingredients & mix well.
Serves 8-10
